Did the 5-7 p.m. slot tonight shortly after seeing my friend CB complete her first-ever marathon--go CB! Sunday 5-7 p.m. was my first time slot on KVRX, back in the fraught summer of '03, and during our normal Real Audio programming, it now belongs to a former student of mine, who was with me in the booth tonight doing the first half of her apprenticeship.

Do Sunday evening listeners just call more, or are there really that many more of them? Whichever is the case, phone traffic was heavy, and we could only fulfill about half of the many requests. We even had one internet listener from Turkey. Someone with clearly superior taste called to ask about the Destroyer.
